Does your child make up little shows at home? Does your child look for attention at home and school? Does your child seem shy and socially awkward. Does he or she have a learning disability? Does your child's participation in sports seem to be a disaster?
These are common questions that find their answer in theatre. Though they come for different reasons and from different backgrounds, the common goal of putting on a show makes each individual in an acting class into a team and as a team, they learn to move mountains. Each accomplishment in a child's life is a building block for success in the future as an adult. Theatre transforms kids in so many ways. It teaches them valuable life lessons. The self-discipline needed for theatre transforms well into every other facet of life. For instance; dyslexic kids learn that words can become their friends rather than their enemies.
Bottle Tree Productions has been running acting classes for the last 8 years. We just finished our summer musical theatre camp production of Peter Pan and we are now excited about our upcoming fall classes.
